All fourteen members of the Senate Whistleblower Protection Caucus – seven Democrats and seven Republicans --  have just introduced a resolution calling on the U.S. Senate to honor National Whistleblower Day in 2016.  Please TAKE ACTION and urge your Senator and Congressman to join strongly support this resolution.

Whistleblower Day celebrates the incredible history of the first American whistleblowers, bold sailors and marines in the Continental Navy who put their lives on the line to hold their corrupt commander accountable and ensure justice was served. The support our Founding Fathers lent to those whistleblowers, including passing America’s first whistleblower law on July 30, 1778,  shows just how essential whistleblowing has been to American Democracy from the very beginnings of our country.

Please urge your member of Congress to support the resolution and to take the time this July 30th to reflect on how important whistleblowers are to our country. We need to change the workplace culture and remember how our Founding Fathers stood behind America’s first whistleblowers!
