Urgent Action Needed!

Seven major wildlife laws (including the Rhinoceros and Tiger Conservation Act and the Lacey and Endangered Species Acts) mandate the Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Marine Fisheries Service protect whistleblowers who risk their careers and lives to report illegal wildlife trafficking. These whistleblower reward laws are vital for stopping the illegal destruction of rainforests, wildlife trafficking in ivory, fishing practices that kill dolphins, and other practices in the multi-billion dollar wildlife trafficking market.

We need your help to ensure that FWS and NMFS implement these laws. They need to establish a whistleblower office and a clear right to confidentiality. Without these basic reforms whistleblowers will remain intimidated, endangered species will be slaughtered, and the most critical informants will remain silent.
